The Rain or Shine Club
The Rain or Shine Club - Heritage Trail is a project sponsored by the Heritage Lottery Fund and with additional support from a number of other organisations. The project aims to encourage young people to look into their own history including both the history of their own families and the history of the country they live in as well as the history of the bicycle and its uses n the UK and elsewhere.
This has been done by inviting young participants to take part in a number of activities which will include cycling tours to historical sites across the UK, pre-trip classroom studies of these sites, cycling proficiency and bicycle maintenance classes, trips to local museums and other related activities including the development of this website to document the project and share our experiences.
